The aim of Redacre Growing Project is to protect the environment, promote wellbeing and bring people together in a supportive community.

We do this through our allotment site which is held in trust by our co-operative and managed by all the members.

Gardening has been shown to improve people’s physical and mental health and we combine this with the benefits of working as part of a welcoming community.

We bring people together through outdoor activity, improving health, lessening isolation and building community.
